Who we are

BALLRMKT ("we", "us") is building a marketplace for football jerseys, boots and gear. This site collects early-access sign-ups. You can reach us at hello@ballrmkt.com.

What we collect

When you join the waitlist we collect your email address. You can also choose to give us your first name, phone number and whether you want to buy, sell or both. Only the email address is required.

If you arrive through a link with a source tag (for example from our Instagram), we save that tag with your sign-up so we know which links work. If you arrive through a friend’s invite link, we also save that friend’s member code with your sign-up, and the page shows you which member invited you (their number only). We generate a member code and a member number (your place in line) for your early-access card. Anyone who has your code can open a page that shows only your member number and the month you joined. It never shows your email, name or phone number.

Our hosting provider receives your IP address and browser details when you visit, as part of normal server logs. We also use your IP address briefly to limit repeated sign-up attempts.

What we do not collect

This site sets no tracking cookies and runs no advertising trackers. We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not identify you. Fonts and images are served from our own domain. If a bot check is switched on for the sign-up form, Cloudflare Turnstile runs only when you start filling it in.

How we use it

We show a public count of how many people have joined once there are enough for it to be meaningful; it is a number only. We use your details to add you to the waitlist, to send you one confirmation email with your card, to tell you when the private beta and the public launch open, and to understand what kind of marketplace people want. We use your phone number only to contact you about the beta, and only if you gave it.

Who handles your data

We use Vercel to host the site, Neon to store the waitlist database and Resend to send your confirmation email. They process data on our behalf. We do not sell your information and we do not share it with anyone else, except where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your details until you ask us to delete them or until we no longer need them for the launch, whichever comes first.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email hello@ballrmkt.com and we will reply within 30 days. Giving us your details is your choice, and you can withdraw it whenever you like. Every email we send you has an unsubscribe link, and we do not email people who unsubscribe.

Children

This site is not meant for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above. If the changes are significant we will tell people on the waitlist by email.
